Bonheur Patisserie – Of Happy Things

“For every minute you are angry you lose sixty seconds of happiness.” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson
At 26, I find myself letting go of negativity much easier than I used to. Time’s a wasting if we try to control matters that go beyond us, especially when it comes to dealing with other human beings. There comes a point where one realizes that as much as one has his/her own beliefs and viewpoints on a situation, same goes to all the other human beings surrounding that same situation. And you have a choice to do one of two things – i) Fight hard to convince them that you are right and be emotionally invested or ii) Let them know, and whatever happens, will happen.
Happiness might be really that simple. I am guessing.

But there needs no guessing for Bonheur Patisserie (pronounced as baw-neur) – which translates from French as Happy Confectionary.

Crisps macaron shells that are just suggestively sweet that snap when you bite into them (oh how satisfying it is to hear that snap) and fillings that marry well with the flavor of the shells. While these macarons feel more like a larger cousin of the otherwise delicate and dainty macaron concept – instead of a cloying sweetness that macarons tend to lend itself to its consumer, Bonheur has done a great job at flavor and balance in its macarons.

With one word, to describe them macarons – YUM.

I will have them again anytime. Definitely recommended.
