Love – Spatula & Whisk

“If you love a flower, don’t pick it up. Because if you pick it up, it dies and it ceases to be what you love. So if you love a flower, let it be. Love is not about possession. Love is about appreciation.” – Osho

Oh, the irony of love; its hard to decide if the pain it has caused us is outweighed by the moments it has touched our hearts and our souls. The same, as with matters that we pour our hearts into – our passions, our jobs, whichever that we are invested in. But what is most important in these endeavours is that they bring to light the essences and nuances of the pursuit which matters to us most. The things we agree with and the things we don’t. The stumble and occasional falls being as necessary as the moments of amazement and redemption. Failure only is, if we give up.

Generously blessed this week by Spatula & Whisk for giving me 4 packets of their lovely cookies. While I sent off two on their way to friends and colleagues, the Chocolate Orange and Earl Grey Lavender were keepers. I have a thing for cookies (lets just say it was part of the routine Sunday mornings and cartoon marathons while growing up). Don’t let these little fragrant buttons fool you – while tiny, they will not leave you in saccharine/diabetic hell. Fragrant and packed with good flavours, you know you’re eating a quality cookie. Plus, these dollops don’t have an oily bottom! Spread the news, change’s gonna come. S&W is definitely conquering the world, one cookie at a time. Processed with VSCOcam with s3 preset
