I believe in strong women. I believe in the woman who is able to stand up for herself. I believe in the woman who doesn’t need to hide behind her husband’s back. I believe that if you have problems, as a woman you deal with them, you don’t play victim, you don’t make yourself look pitiful, you don’t point fingers. You stand and you deal. You face the world with a head held high and you carry the universe in your heart.

Independence can be defined as being not contingent upon something else for its existence – how this is true for relationships. It seems almost contradictory, for relationships to be based upon the independence, but this can be no farther from the truth. If we cannot first grasp the concept of what it means to be independent, we cannot then work with equal effort to build and sustain a relationship. I for one, do not believe in codependence; while with equal strength, I believe the hallmark of a healthy relationship is the integration of two independent minds working together for a common goal.
Sunday found S and I catching Singapore Design Week on it’s last day. Singapore Design week brings together a collection of local and international design activities into Singapore, with the aim of raising awareness of design, deepening the appreciate and for design innovation thus encouraging the use of design in innovation and productivity. One could say that the Working Capitol is the embodiment of productive innovative design – it being a hybrid, an integrated space of open co-working private offices, venue for events and a cafe.
