Meaning – Open Book Cafe

“The only people I would care to be with now are artists and people who have suffered: those who know what beauty is, and those who know what sorrow is” – Oscar Wilde

What is meaning? Is it based on correspondence? Does it have to do with coherence? Or is meaning based on a consensus? The writer, Joseph Campbell once said, “life has no meaning. Each of us has meaning and we bring it to life,” From time to time, I question the point in things – life events, why things happen the way they do. How coincidences no matter how unlikely seem to seamlessly fall into place.

Housed in the Grassroots Book Room, the Open Book Cafe serves house-made bread. The place exudes the same calm the book room does – inviting and comforting with the smell of freshly baked bread, coffee and tea.
